Introduction
Pro Coach Cricket Academy was orignally founded in early 2006 by Chris Taylor (Yorkshire CCC) and Andrew Gale (Yorkshire CCC and England Lions Captain). The ambition was to provide unrivalled expert cricket coaching by current Test and County cricketers for juniors learning the game across the UK. Now just a few years later Pro Coach Cricket Academy boasts a great reputation across the entie UK as the leading cricket coaching service. Over 5000 young cricketers have benefited from the first class coaching with many going on to represent their District, League side, County or Country.
Now Pro Coach has moved on and is lead by a group of the countries most highly regarded coaches who design and deliver the courses alongside more than 65 Professional Cricketers, Pro Coach has gone from stength to strength offering more coaching opportunities to more areas of the UK than ever before.
The Pro Coach Cricket Academy Philosophy
In 2006 Chris and Andrew both decided there was a lack of quality cricket coaching for young cricketers who failed to make their Junior County side. They both believe that too many young, talented cricketers are given no opportunity to improve their game following representative side rejection. There are thousands of children out there who need a stepping stone back into the game, to boost their confidence and improve their technique. They also wanted to provide an opportunity for young cricketers at club and school level to maximise their ability. Pro Coach Cricket Academy has, and continues to, provide this for young cricketers.
These days our philosophy has developed further and now Pro Coach Cricket Academy has a structured cricket coaching set up carefully designed to cater for all junior cricketers whether your child is a beginner or has ambitions to become a Professional Cricketer.
With Summer Development Camps, Holiday Courses and Development Academies suited to players of all abilities, with Master Classes along with Summer and Winter Elite Academies for talented and more importantly hard working and committed young cricketers!

Pro Coach Cricket Academy believes that having current and ex Professional cricketers along side Professional coaches combining to run the coaching has huge benefits for young cricketers, and with over 65 current first class players involved in our coaching Academies we have an unrivalled recource of professional knowledge. Not only do the Pro Coach Professionals, players and coaches, pass on expert technical cricket coaching, they can also pass on their own experiences and vast knowledge of the professional game. Young cricketers are often more receptive to Professional cricketers involved in sessions due to the ‘hero factor’ of having seen the coach play or coach on TV, or the knowledge that the coach has been at the top of the game. With attention the key to development Pro Coach believes they offer a unique service incomparable to any other cricket coaching in the UK.

That's not to say its ever too late to start learning mind you. In my experience someones perceived level of 'talent' is never enough to carry a cricketer to the top and this is where high quality coaching can hopefully not only install a strong tehnique and knowledge of the game into a developing cricketer, but also a winning attitude towards training, performance and life.
