Parents Guide

PCYC aims to give all children the opportunity for participation, enjoyment and skill development at an early age. All young cricketers should arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the specified start time, suitably dressed for cricket - ideally in training clothing, whites not essential with non-marking footwear. Cricketers should bring all of their own cricket equipment to every session (bat, pads, gloves, box. etc) Further to that, children will also need to bring their own cricket ball for the duration of the course. Please write your child's name on the ball using a marker pen, this will not damage the ball but will ensure it doesn't end up in the wrong hands! We also recommend that everyone brings sufficient drinks to keep hydration levels up throughout the session, a big bottle of water would be ideal. For those attending day courses where lunch is required we recommend that cricketers bring a packed lunch. Please ensure that cricketers are collected promptly and if for any reason there is a delay please let us know at the earliest opportunity.
