As Captain of Yorkshire and recognised as an established member of the England Lions side and pushing for higher honours Andrew has played over 150 1st team games for Yorkshire, scored over 4,500 1st team runs and has been a Professional Cricketer for 8 years now. He was named Yorkshire player of the year in 2006 and was Capped in 2008, with six 1st team Centuries to his name. He is currently Yorkshire 1st team’s opening batsman with Chris Taylor and has recently been named 2009 Yorkhire player of the year, picking up the award for a second time in 4 years.

Andrew, along with Chris Taylor, founded Pro Coach Cricket Academy in 2006 and is a Director of the business.

Andrew is a level 3 coach who has great cricket coaching experience. He has worked with the Yorkshire Academy on numerous occasions and has also been Director of Cricket at Driffield CC in the Yorkshire League. Andrew was invited to coach at the World Cricket Academy in Mumbai, India.

Andrew is also a Head Coach of Pro Coach Cricket Academy in the Yorkshire and Lancashire area. He has a superb reputation as a coach in these areas and has had many of his young cricketers go on to achieve representative honours.
