Sam is National Manager of Pro Coach and an experienced player and coach. He has played and coached cricket all around the world in countires including Australia, South Africa and New Zealand, working with numerous first class and international players, coaches and teams along the way. From a sports science background he studied sports science and sports performance at B(Sc) and M(Sc) levels respectively. Sam has a great deal of experience in the application of biomechanics and strength and conditioning within cricket, and hence has a vast knowledge of the use of video analysis, fitness development and progression, as well studying sports psychology and a strong understanding of the various mental processes required to make it to the highest level.

Sam is the Cricket Professional and 1st XI Head Coach at Portsmouth Grammar School, one of the most highly regarded cricketing schools in the UK. He was also Head coach of the Royal Navy 1st XI and has become a highly respected coach around the country, being extremely knowledgeable in the development of batting, fast and spin bowling as well as fielding techniques. Subsequently Sam is our Head Coach, course designer and leads our internal coach education programmes.
