Pro Coach Cricket Academy will be coming to Hertfordshire for the first time in 2009, starting with our highly anticipated 20/20 Skills Academy in the summer. Hertfordshire will also be staging our inaugural "Elite Academy" as well as a number of our hugely popular Premier Academies. Led by Regional Manager and Professional Cricketer - Steve Selwood, Pro Coach is looking to offer the highest possible standard of cricket coaching being largely provided by current and ex county cricketers, supported by highly qualified county coaches and players from around the world.

Premier Academy

Our most popular coaching course running at a number of bases around Hertfordshire including the Hertfordshire Premier Academy at Hatfield and the Herts ansd Essex Premier Academy Walthomstow. At our Premier Coaching Academies cater for young cricketers of all abilities from players new to the game to experienced juniors. With coaching from Hertfordshire cricketers as well as highly qualified county junior and club coaches young cricketers will have to oportunity to develop their skills in the winter months to have them ready for the upcoming season.

• 10 x one and a half hour sessions of coaching by current Professional cricketers and leading County junior coaches
• The coaching is based on skill specific drills, nets and gameplay
• Opportunity to receive video analysis in a net situation

20/20 Summer Academy

Our new 20/20 Summer Academies are our exciting new way for young cricketers around Hertfordshire to develop their attacking instincts, by learning to hit the ball over the top, reverse sweep, bowl slower balls, yorkers as well as learning the correct way to execute all the other exciting skills that are taking over the modern game. Young cricketers ages 7-16 around Hertfordshire will receive the chance to learn these skills from current 20/20 stars as well as highly qualified county junior and club coaches, with courses running at Hitchin CC and South Woodford CC.

• 3 days (15 hours) coaching by current Professional cricketers and leading junior coaches
• 20/20 coaching drills and techniques used by County 1st teams
• Fun and enjoyable Academy using innovative coaching that can be adapted to all forms of cricket
