In 2011 the Pro Coach Yorkshire Cricket Elite Academy will continue with all the coaching been run by current Yorkshire 1st team players such as Anthony McGrath, Tim Bresnan, Andrew Gale, Oliver Hannon Dalby, Adil Rashid, Ajmal Shazad and Joe Sayers to name just a few. Pro Coach believes this to be the ultimate in Yorkshire youth and childrens cricket coaching, available for children aged 7-16, in two seperarate age groups - under 12 (6-12) and under 16s (13-16).
There will also be Pro Coach Yorkshire Cricket Development Academies in the following areas for 2011, Huddersfield, York, Leeds, Hull, Halifax, Sheffield, Harrogate, Scarborough, Whitby, Keighley, Bradford, Rotherham, North Yorkshire, Wakefield, and Doncaster. The cricket coaching will be run by Yorkshire players with level 3 coaches and Yorkshire junior managers, available for children aged 7-16, in two seperarate age groups - under 12 (6-12) and under 16s (13-16).
Batting, Fast Bowling and Wicket Keeping Master Classes are a great way for our young cricketers to learn from current and previous Yorkshire and International cricketers, with recent masterclasses being taught by the likes of Tim Bresnan, Adil Rashid, Anthony McGrath and Terry Jenner.
Specialist Courses are now available for young cricketers across Yorkshire. With Batting specific and Fast Bowling specific courses being run by Yorkshires top players and coaches on offer to only 6 young cricketers at a time, this is a great way to spend some quality time with the highest quality of players and coaches on offer.
Adult Course is a new introduction to Pro Coach Yorkshire Cricket, offering senior cricketers from across Yorkshire league cricket the opportunity to continue their development and get ahead of local oppoistion this winter. This is available anyone 16+, players will be seperated accordingly into groups based on their ability and undergo specific drills and net play; from cricketers looking to establish a better basic technique through to experienced players really looking to fine tune there game in preparation for some real high quality club cricket.
Saturday Club is for infants and children aged 4-11 and introduces them to the fundemantals of cricket as they start out in the game. With basic motor skills being developed as well as the introduction of simple technique and a lot of fun along the way, its the first step for many our youngsters on the long road to Test cricket! Saturday club has two seperate age groups; 4-7 and 7-11.
When the holidays come around we've got the course for you, our Half Term Cricket Course. Running during every school half term or holiday our half term courses are a great way for future stars to continue there technical and tactical development, suitable for young cricketers of all abailites ages 7-16.
